"天華 Solar Bloom"
生命は、静寂の中で花開く。
その始まりは、激しい閃光ではなく、
目には見えない小さな鼓動なのかもしれません。
Solar Bloomは、生命が内包する力と、宇宙を満たす静けさ、
その二つの対話から生まれた作品です。
中心から放射状に広がる黄金の光は、
絶えず生まれ続ける創造のエネルギーを象徴しています。
一方、それを包み込む深いブルーは、空や海、
そして無限に広がる宇宙を思わせ、
あらゆる生命の源へと意識を導きます。
自然界には、完全な対称性と揺らぎ、
そして偶然が共存しています。
この作品もまた、独自の絞り染めの技法によって、
一枚一枚すべて手作業で制作されています。
布を折り、縛り、染料を重ねる工程の中で、
作家の意図と染料の流れが呼応しながら、
二度と再現することのできない唯一の表情が生まれます。
そこには、技術だけではなく、時間や重力、水、
そして偶然さえも共作者として存在しています。
私は絞り染めを布を染める技法ではなく、
自然と対話するための表現だと考えています。
この作品が、鑑賞する人それぞれの記憶や感情と静かに響き合い、
新しい風景を心の中に咲かせる存在となれば幸いです

🌿 素材について
この作品に使用している生地は、
世界各地を巡り、
数えきれないほどの試行錯誤の末に辿り着いたものです。
最終的に辿り着いたのは
タイ・チェンマイで特別に織ってもらっている素朴なコットン生地。
染料の入り方、にじみ方、そして発色の奥行きまで計算された、
この作品のための素材です。
絞り染めにおいて、生地は単なる土台ではなく、
表現そのものを決定づける重要な要素です。

🌿 作家について
私は20年以上にわたり、染めの技術を磨き続け、
試行錯誤を重ねる中で独自の技法を少しづつ確立し、
柔らかで奥行きのある曼荼羅模様を表現してきました。
ですが、どれほどの熱量と技量と意図を注ぎ込んだとしても、
最後に作品を完成させ、彩りを与えるのは私の手ではありません。
絞り染めの本質は、
制御できない何か――
最後の一手に偶然か必然か、
“神の手”が介在するところにあると思います。
だからこそ、この作品も私が作ったものではなく、
私の手を通して現れた
大きな自然や宇宙の意志として生まれたものだと思います。

Tenka – Solar Bloom
Life blossoms in stillness.
Perhaps every beginning is not born from a brilliant flash of light,
but from a tiny heartbeat invisible to the eye.
Solar Bloom is a work inspired by the dialogue between the inner vitality of life and the profound silence that fills the universe.
The radiant golden light expanding from the center symbolizes the creative energy that is constantly being born.
Surrounding it, the deep blue evokes the sky, the sea, and the infinite cosmos, gently guiding the viewer toward the very source of all life.
In nature, perfect symmetry exists alongside subtle fluctuations and chance.
This artwork is created entirely by hand using my own original shibori dyeing technique.
Through the repeated process of folding, binding, and layering dyes, my intention and the natural flow of the pigments respond to one another, giving birth to a one-of-a-kind expression that can never be reproduced.
Not only craftsmanship, but also time, gravity, water, and even chance become collaborators in the creation of each piece.
To me, shibori is not simply a method of dyeing fabric.
It is a way of entering into a quiet dialogue with nature.
I hope this work resonates gently with each viewer’s memories and emotions, allowing a new landscape to bloom within the heart.

🌿 About the Material
The fabric used for this artwork is the result of countless years of exploration and experimentation across many parts of the world.
The journey ultimately led me to a simple yet exceptional cotton fabric, custom woven in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Its ability to absorb dye, create delicate gradients, and reveal rich depth of color was carefully considered specifically for my artistic process.
In shibori, the fabric is never merely a surface.
It is an essential part of the expression itself.

🌿 About the Artist
For more than twenty years, I have devoted myself to refining the art of shibori, gradually developing my own techniques to create soft, layered mandala-like forms.
Yet no matter how much intention, experience, or skill I bring to the process, I believe I am not the one who ultimately completes the work.
The true essence of shibori lies in something beyond human control—
in that final, unpredictable moment where chance and inevitability seem to meet, as though touched by the hand of something greater.
For this reason, I do not feel that I simply create these works.
Rather, they emerge through my hands as expressions of the greater rhythms of nature and the universe.
